A Day in the Life (Dec. 2025)

Hello everyone, it’s Olivia with some exciting updates to the blog!

 

As the school year’s been wrapping up for the fall, I’ve been reflecting on the work we’ve done with the Paperblog Writers so far. The 2 months of its existence have been unreal; Serenna and I have been out at shows, meeting artists and living out our indie-sleaze dreams. I’m having the time of my life; do you know how fun it is to tell people I run a blog as if I’m some hipster in 2012? It has done incredible things to my ego. Because yeah, the only thing people love more than a journalist is a BLOGGER for Christ's sake.

 

Jokes aside, I’m really proud of the work we’ve done. And to think both of us are only 18! The blog’s success has shown us that things can only get bigger from here.

 

Over phone calls with terrible reception (that’s what you get when you live 5,000 miles apart from each other), Serenna and I have been planning big things for the Paperblog Writers in the new year. We’re excited to expand our team within GZR, bringing on a few of our talented friends onto the project. We’ve got some other things planned but where’s the fun in telling you everything now?

 

Because it’s the holidays, we’re gonna be slowing down with the amount of content we’re producing - but don’t worry! We’re coming back into the new year better than ever. Thank you to everyone who’s been supporting us and we’ll see you next year!
