Hello! I’m Serenna - a temporarily UK-based writer honing my journalism skills as a passion project with Ground Zero Radio and Glasgow-based Snack Magazine while earning my degree in the craft at Arizona State University Online. Right now, I’m in that weird but exciting in-between where a lot is open-ended - which, for better or worse, means I get to decide what this next chapter looks like. Ideally, it’ll involve more writing, more creative exploration, and livable wages (alright, I got too ahead of myself there).  

Some content you can expect from me includes coverage on the current United Kingdom scene under the label Across the Universe, slightly sardonic album reviews, and at least one Big Thief or Bowie reference per post. I also will be peppering the occasional classic rock post wherever I can fit it into the schedule - because what would you do without yet another music enthusiast telling you to check out The White Album?  While the need for this is up for debate, I can’t wait to share our musical opinions with you, as a highly credentialed journalist who’s never advanced my career beyond learning Riptide on the ukulele.
