Antonio Nevarez is a first-year journalism student at Seattle Pacific University. He has worked as a youth reporter since the age of 15, when he joined KUOW RadioActive Youth Media, a program that teaches teenagers the basics of radio production. Antonio’s favorite part of the journalism experience is the interviewing. He loves to find new people to talk to, learn about their lives, and share their stories with others. At GZR, Antonio writes for the newsroom hosts the “I Remember You!” podcast, a show centered on visiting the shows and movies that people grew up with. In his free time, Antonio enjoys listening to podcasts, hanging out with dog and guinea pigs, and helping others produce news stories of their own.
