Terina Papatu is a high school journalist who uses her writing as a way to share stories of communities that are usually overlooked. She’s part of KUOW RadioActive program, the Co-Editor-in-Chief of her school’s newspaper, and won an honorable mention in News Writing at the spring 2023 JEA (Journalism Education Association) convention in San Francisco, California. When not writing or doing school work, she loves to spend time with friends as well as wander around Seattle.
